In November 2011, Governor Bob McDonnell and a team of Virginia economic development officials embarked on an 11-day job creation and economic development marketing mission that took the group to Israel and India before concluding on November 21st. The marketing mission provided the governor and other state officials a unique opportunity to strengthen Virginia's relationship with foreign companies that already have a Virginia presence and to share Virginia's story with prospective corporate investors and importers.

Governor Bob McDonnell will join Google officials in Manassas to help launch “Virginia Get Your Business Online,” an easy and fast way for Virginia businesses to get a website. Google is partnering with Intuit to provide its popular Intuit Websites offerings for free including an easy-to-build website, a customized domain name and web-hosting for one year. Participating Virginia businesses also receive a local business listing on Google Places and free tools, training and resources to succeed online.
